From what I understand, the graphics card can't be bypassed to use the Intel integrated graphics (which is what I would do if I could). Which indicates it is an Ubuntu-specific problem (at least, it does to me). ![]() Worth noting is the fact that Debian installs and runs fine. From the boot logs when booting this with a monitor connected, I determined it was something to do with the graphics drivers not loading properly. I'd kind of like to have a GUI on it, so this really isn't much of an option for me. If I use the non-graphical install media, it installs fine but refuses to boot after.Īlso, the server edition boots fine without a monitor connected, and I can connect one after, but no GUI will boot (obviously, it's a server). However, as soon as I boot to the graphical install media, it freezes. I'm trying to install Ubuntu on an old Mac Mini from 2011, with an i7 processor and an AMD graphics card.
